I’m in Guangzhou already. And I tell you, it’s terrible here. When I walked out of the airport I saw this cleaner with a pair of tongs, trying to pick cigarette buds out of the soil, and the soil was black in colour! It’s terrible. The air is like 10 times worse than the air in Singapore. I felt that I couldn’t breathe at first, no bullshit. And when you look down on China on the plane, it’s like the place is covered in this blanket of yellow smoke. All foggy and yellow. There are no trees or grass on the streets. You know in Singapore everywhere you look you’ll see green stuffs. Here it’s like nothing. Zero, none, zilch. I think the government is trying to make here more clean and green, maybe because of the Olympics. And they planted trees. No offence, but the trees look pathetic. They just dug a hole out of the ground and put a tree there. Because nobody actually take care of the trees, trees are barely standing and they have to put sticks around it so it wouldn’t fall on the ground. The trees have only a few leaves hanging on it and they are all small and skinny. Don’t even get me started on how terrible it is when it rains.

Good news is I’m starting my piano lessons again! I haven’t touch the piano since the June holidays. Hope I don’t suck at it now and make the teacher disappointed in me :D
